My teaching career began after completing an Aeronautical Engineering degree from Imperial College London, where I developed advanced skills in mathematical problem-solving. I went on to specialise in Secondary Mathematics with a PGCE from the University of Bath. I’ve taught IGCSE Mathematics at respected institutions such as Loreto College Marryatville, where I spearheaded maths innovation, and King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Boys. Alongside IGCSE, I’ve taught A-Level Mathematics and supported numerous students in STEM subjects. Currently, as Head of Mathematics at Royal Grammar School Worcester, I teach IGCSE Maths, Further Maths, and beyond, aiming always to ignite students’ passion for mathematics.
My method is centred around building clarity and confidence in GCSE Mathematics. By delivering clear explanations, using visual resources, and customising practice tasks to match each student’s needs, I ensure thorough understanding of key concepts. Whether providing fundamental support or advanced challenges, my sessions are welcoming, structured, and focused on tangible outcomes for students of all abilities.
At MixtAcademy, we believe that every student has the potential to excel when guided with the right support and resources.
