Sharjah Autism Centre is one of the top special needs schools in Sharjah. The centre was the first specialised Emirati centre providing special education and therapeutic services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and follows the (TEACCH) approach. Established in 2002, the centre currently provides services for children aged 5 to 12 and aims to expand programmes for adolescents and young adults. Their educational services cater to autistic students aged 5 to 12 and provide professional preparation for students aged 12 to 18.
