Frequently Asked Questions

The method of putting students in the right grade level depending on their age and previous schooling is called age placement. This approach ensures that things go smoothly and are in line with foreign and KHDA standards.

Putting students in the right class for their age connects them with classmates who are about the same age. It also allows them to continue a curriculum path that is good for their educational progress, interpersonal growth, and mental health.

We use the UK Curriculum and charts that compare schools around the world to match your child's age to the proper grade. We also look over the previous school records and may do a placement test if needed.

We know that each student is different. In such cases, we may change the order of placement by one grade up or down, with the help of evaluations and talks with an academic counselor.

Mixt Academy uses the UK National Curriculum for GCSE, IGCSE, and A-Levels. This ensures that the school's standards are the same around the world.

Students usually start GCSE and IGCSE programs between the ages of 14 and 16, and A-Levels between the ages of 16 and 18. However, the final placement is based on tests and past learning.

Yes. Parents can talk to our counselors about individual cases. We closely think about requests to make sure that each kid has the best possible learning path.

Parents need to bring the child's birth certificate, latest report card, and related documents. These help us make sure you are the right age and ready for school.

Most of the time, placement stays the same for the school year. But if a kid makes a lot of progress or faces academic problems, we can look at their placement and make changes with their parents' help.
